Waiting on Wednesday: Can't Wait for April!

Distant Waves: A Novel of the Titanic

By: Suzanne Weyn

Science, spiritualism, history, and romance intertwine in Suzanne Weyn's newest novel. Four sisters and their mother make their way from a spiritualist town in New York to London, becoming acquainted with journalist W. T. Stead, scientist Nikola Tesla, and industrialist John Jacob Astor. When they all find themselves on the Titanic, one of Tesla's inventions dooms them...and one could save them.

Doesn't it sound awesome? I just heard about this book and I love the idea behind it. I'm quite intrigued to see what the whole story is about. The cover is amazing as well.

Out: April 15

17 Again

I can't really find a summary for the film, but I've included the trailer below. Basically, Mike is given a shot to be 17 again (played by Zac Efron) and with the help of his friend (from when he was 37), he goes back to school...the same one his two kids go too actually.

I think this sounds like a really fun film, and it looks hilarious as well!

Out: April 17

You can find the trailer here:

Sorry if the dates for either of these are off, but I'm pretty sure it's right!

I soo want to see 17 Again-the trailer looks awesome and so funny! And as weird as this is to say, but I was fairly impressed by what I saw of Mr. Efron! (Acting-wise, not looks-wise)haha

And I haven't heard about this book, but it looks wonderful. Thanks for sharing and hopefully you won't mind if it ends up on one of my upcoming Want It Wednesday posts:)

That cover is so cool!

I am seriously so excited, it looks so funny and great. :D

Polo.Pony: of course, I DO agree. :)

Sarah: I always say this, but Zac CAN act. I like the High School musical trilogy but it's cheesy and amusing and doesn't really show what he can do. You should watch Miracle Run, which Zac did before HSM and he plays an autistic kid. He's so amazing in it, I think, and I loveee that movie!

Yeah! I just found it today and was like "OOHH, must post about this one!"

You're welcome, and it's quite alright. Spread the word!

Jessica: I know, it's just gorgeous. I love it.

Erin: Me neither! I just saw the trailer over the weekend and I'm set for April now.

I've never seen a trailer for 17 again. It was hilarous! Can't wait until it comes out. Thanks for showing me a movie I haven't heard of yet. :)

I somehow love everything to do with the Titanic so I will definitely keep my eye out for that one.

Shooting Stars Mag said...

Carrie: I do agree! Glad you think so.

Cecilia: yes, it is, and i know! it definitely gives off a creepy vibe. It has a very interesting summary.

The Bookworm: No problem. I'm glad I could help!!!

Lenore: Yay! The titanic is a very intriguing topic. It's cool to see a new fiction book that relates to it.
