YA Book Carnival: Official Dates + Info!
June 21-27 are the official dates of the YA Book Carnival. I will post a Mr. Linky the day it starts and you all can leave the exact link to your particular contest (you can post more than one contest but you only post YOUR links).
-Anyone can join in.
-The giveaway can be open to anyone, you set the requirements.
-The prize MUST be a YA level book or something book-related anyone could enjoy (gift card, etc.)
-Again, starts Sunday June 21 and ends Saturday June 27
-Contest can begin anytime during that week and end whenever you wish.
I picked the end of June because most people either said didn't matter, end of June, or July...so I think this is a good compromise. I hope you all agree!
Please spread the word. Tell authors about it so they can enter their contest if they are going to have one or want too during that week. Tell other bloggers, YA or not, because they still might want ot know...to enter contests, find new blogs, or throw their own giveaway.
If you have any questions, get in touch.
Question: Does someone know how to make a graphic for this? I thought it might be nice to have the name and dates so we can post that around and link it back to this post for now...and to the Mr. Linky post later if you want.

:o) Yay! I've marked it on my calendar!
Lauren, I /can/ use the ferris wheel, but something like this?:

Diana: Me neither!! I'm excited.
I Heart Monster: Yay, I'm glad. :)
Aerin: I'm going to check it out now!!
Lauren - I can do any picture you like, and the resizing is a piece of cake. I just chose the stars in honor of Shooting Stars :) I will have it resized with the code up by Monday, if that's okay.
Looking forward to this.
This will be so much fun! Have to pick out some good books to give away. And I am going to make mine international.
The Book Resort: Yay, me too!
Lenore: Sounds great and I'm glad someone can do international...I'd feel bad if NOBODY could. But I'm glad you like the idea. Please spread the word.

Hi Lauren, I just got back last night. Sounds great. Count me in.
E. Van Lowe: Welcome back, and thank you! I'm glad you want to participate. :)
This is an awesome idea. I'm glad I have about a month to prepare. I'm gonna have to try and get my hands on some money so I can buy stuff for a giveaway. It will be my blog's first giveaway so I'm gonna try and make it a good one.
Hey, great idea! I make my graphics on www.bannerfans.com. It's really easy. All you have to do is make an account. Then you add a picture and text. There are a lot of fun text choices! Hope that helps!
-Elise-
Looking forward to it.
this is going to be so totally awesome.
I've got my prize all picked out... and I'm considering an international giveaway, too.
Did the graphic get finalized? I loved the one Aerin came up with.
The Book Pixie: Oh, your first one? That's very exciting!! I'm glad you like the idea.
Elise: Thanks for letting me know!!
VV: Me too, glad to hear it though!
Robby: :) Thanks. I hope so!
NotNessie: Yep, I posted it at the top of the blog. Aerin did great. And yay for being all ready. :)
Oooo... it's very prettiful.
I posted this at the book bloggers group on Shelfari http://www.shelfari.com/groups/37744/about
Sounds like a great idea! Hope I am able to participate! It will be my first contest.
I have the YA Carnival Button up on my sidebar. Will look into finding a book to review/giveaway.
Also will try to post about it on the kidlitosphere group page.
NotNessie: I do agree, and thanks for posting it!
Eli: A few people said it would be their first, which is great. I hope you can be part.
Brimful: Thank you so much, I'd love to have you on board. :-)
That would be great, I really appreciate all the help spreading the word.
