Ouchies Review!

Ouchies Review
by: Lauren
As you can see (hopefully) from the picture above, Ouchies are bandages with some cool designs. The picture shows off the girl's set but they also have some for boys as well as some where you can draw your own design. I tried these out for awhile and I have to say that my verdict is positive. I really enjoyed these! I was sent the boy's and girl's sets, and so far have only used the girl's, but that doesn't make any difference beyond the design's that you recieve.

In my everyday life, I'm always needing a band aid for one thing or another...mostly for my fingers as my nails bleed a lot. Basically, this means that I know my band aids and I love these way more than the kind you buy in the store. For some people, the design might make them more fun and age-appropriate (these are great especially for preteens and up) but when it comes to the actual's still great.

Let me explain-

The band aid lasts at least one day with no trouble, including taking a shower and washing your hands.

One thing I hate about regular band aids is that they always want to fall off right away and these don't do that. They are comfortable while staying on tight enough.

The edges do start to "fray" if you will after some time, but it's not that big of a deal and all band aids do this. My main concern was the falling off, and like I said, it doesn't do that at all!

My mom even tried these out and give them her approval as she agreed that they stay on nicely and it's much easier to go about your day if you aren't worried about a band aid falling off or getting in your way.

Taking them off is super easy as well. I didn't have any problems with it hurting your skin, but I can't say that will be the case for everyone. I do think it comes off a little easier than most band aids though.

These are great for anyone who are tired of the store-bought band aids, looking for a fun new design for themselves or a kid they know, or simply want to try them out. I think if you know someone who maybe goes to the doctor's a lot for shots or IVs this would be great as they are fun looking and might add a little smile. It would especially be great to have the "design your own band aid" so they can prepare for the visit beforehand and it might go a bit smoother aftwards.

And finally, I LOVE the box they come in. You can see the girl's container in the picture at the top, but they boy's is similar...just with a blue color to it. I love these because they are a metal tin that shuts easily instead of a box. This is great to throw in a purse or bag if you are going out and you won't have to worry about losing any or smashing the box it comes in. I figure once the box is empty you can always keep it for fun as well...maybe put some paperclips in there, or wrapped candy, use it for a craft! Whatever!

What do you think though? Do they seem like something you'd want to try out?

These look super cute! I'm always doing something that rates wearing a band-aid - cutting my fingers, stubbing my toes, these would be great!
