Book 1 of The Soul Screamers series -- My Soul to Take -- was released this past summer, and readers found out why Kaylee Cavanaugh screams bloody murder when someone’s about to die.

In Book 2 – My Soul to Save – when teen pop star Eden croaks on stage and Kaylee doesn’t wail, she knows something is dead wrong. She can’t cry for someone who has no soul.

The last thing Kaylee needs right now is to be skipping school, breaking her dad’s ironclad curfew and putting her too-hot-to-be-real boyfriend’s loyalty to the test. But starry-eyed teens are trading their souls for a flickering lifetime of fame and fortune in exchange for eternity in the Netherworld—a consequence they can’t possibly understand.

Kaylee can’t let that happen, even if trying to save their souls means putting her own at risk.

Soul Screamers: The last thing you hear before you die.

I love this series. I checked out My Soul To Take after seeing a book trailer for it and LOVED IT! It is an amazing book and Rachel Vincent's writing style is absolutely tantalizing. I hope that I get to read the sequel! I already read My Soul To Lose from online. I would say the general idea of what Kaylee is caught my attention enough for me to try it and after reading it I could hardly put it down!

Wonderful contest!

P.S.- Going to comment on the other post!

I think the series is incredibly original. Lets face it, we live in the Vampire-Werewolf-Faery generation, kuddos to Rachel Vincent. It's not easy coming up with something new and never been done!

I have started My Soul To Take, but have yet to finish it. So far, so good!

And thanks for having the contest!

I would love it if you could count me in!

What grabbed my attention about this series was the synopsis where it mentioned how Kaylee screams when she senses someone near her is about to die. So unique!

I've been hearing SO MUCH about this series, and I've never heard it before. I haven't read any of the books in this series, but I would really like to try them out because they're so popular.

I think the series sounds good because it's about fame and fortune, and a lot of people are obsessed with obtaining it. They don't realize that that's not what's important in life: that shouldn't be their main goal.

Thanks for the entry,

The unique take on the old banshee legend is what I find so interesting about this series. Fairies, werewolves, vampires, and ghosts have been done to death but this is the first time I've heard of a banshee as a main character.

I have the first book but I haven't started it yet
