NBC’s new hit comedy “Growing Up Fisher” airs tonight (3/4)! This new television series is comedic, semi-real, and might resemble an autobiography about your own family. The story follows eleven-year-old, Henry Fisher (Eli Baker), and his atypical family, his parents’ divorce, and the arrival of his blind father’s guide dog, Elvis (Peyton). If a dog named after a musical legend isn’t enough to get you hooked, you can learn more about “Growing Up Fisher” on the NBC website.
I watched the premiere episode of "Growing Up Fisher" last week and thought it was enjoyable. You get a loveable dog, an interesting but still realistic family, and some humor, so I think this show could do good things. It also stars J.K. Simmons as the dad (who is blind), which I think is great because he's a wonderful actor.
What do you think? Are you (or will you be) watching this show?
