Tune in Tuesday with The Beatles

Tune in Tuesday comes from Kate's Tales of Books and Bands

In honor of my review yesterday, I thought I would share my favorite Beatles song!

"Eleanor Rigby"

"Eleanor Rigby picks up the rice in the church where a wedding has been
Lives in a dream
Waits at the window, wearing the face that she keeps in a jar by the door
Who is it for?

All the lonely people
Where do they all come from?
All the lonely people
Where do they all belong?"

I do like the Beatles, they put me in a weird sort of mood, but it's a nice one. Mellow I guess. :)

I actually never got into the Beatles but I was just a tad late to game. Wrong generation ;) I've never heard this song before but I do like the beat and chorus. Definitely a unique song!

That's a great song. I think my favorite Beatles song is probably Norwegian Wood.

Never a fan of the Beatles I am however fascinated by all the theories that many of their songs actually contained hidden meanings, that seemingly about one thing they were in fact about something else.

That's one of my favorites! (I think my absolute favorite is "She's So Heavy.")

I listened to the Beatles "One" cd obsessively when I was about 20. I loved Eleanor Rigsby. Thanks for sharing!

This reminds me of my senior year of high school. I fell hard for The Beatles and had this on replay.

Love the Beatles and am a huge fan, but have to admit that I never really understood this one. I think my favorite song is "For No One" but there's so many good ones to choose from!

This is one of my absolute FAVORITE Beatles songs! It's so underrated, likely because it's not one of their typical upbeat numbers you can just belt out, but the lyrics are fantastic. Great pick! :)
