Book Expo America: I'm Going, Are You?

It's official: I will be attending Book Expo America 2015. I have gone once before in the past, but it was years ago and I was not able to attend as much as I would have liked. This time around, I won't be there 24/7 but I will have more of an opportunity to enjoy. I'm flying in Wednesday afternoon, so my first official day will be Thursday and I should be there almost the entire day. As for Friday, I will be there for about half the day if all goes to plan. As I said before, I'm flying in Wednesday afternoon/early evening and leaving really early on Sunday so I technically have about three and a half days to enjoy BEA and NYC.

I already have some idea of other NYC attractions and restaurants that I want to visit, and a friend of mine lives in Brooklyn so I'll spend a bit of time with her! BUT if there is something you think I should try and do, let me know in the comments. I don't have my full schedule figured out yet so you never know!

What I REALLY want to know though is the following-

"Who else is going to BEA this year? And would you like to meet at some point?"

When it comes to meeting, this could be at BEA when we're both there or somewhere else in NYC where we can all hang out whatever - if our schedules work out.

I haven't met that many bloggers in person, and many of the bloggers I have met are no longer blogging, so it would be great to finally see some of you face-to-face!!

Since I'm on a different continent, I'll likely do the Armchair BEA thing this year. That was a fabulous idea for us less fortunate readers. :)

I wish I could go! There are so many authors I want to meet and want them to autograph my books. Such a shame! I'm going to try for next year, though.

I won't be there, bit too far for me. ;-)
Have a fun time and I'd love to hear all about it when you return.

I wish we had something similar in Australia, not only to get a sneak peek at all the fabulous authors and books coming out, but to mingle with all the bloggers at the one event. I'm so jealous Lauren, it sounds like you'll have an incredible time! Make sure you take lots of photos, so we can all live vicariously through you. I can't wait to hear all about your adventure <3

I can't go. :( I know a few bloggers that are going though, which sucks (not because they're going, but because I can't meet them) because I'd love to, it sounds amazing, and such an awesome way of bringing bloggers together, even if it's a busy few days.

Oh, Lauren! I have two immediate reactions to this. First, yay SO exciting for you!! And second, if only I were going to be there as well! Would've been the perfect time to meet you! Ah well, there will be another time. Please take many photos to share with those of us who can't make it later! :):) Have fun!

How exciting! I hope to one day attend but I am in Australia so it's not so easy unfortunately.

I hope you have a wonderful time and meet some wonderful authors and bloggers.

You commented that you don't have a smartphone on my BEA post. Can you do texting? If so get in touch with me before and I can give you my #.

Also, I bring my husband Kevin with me so you can also look for him. There aren't as many guys so sometimes it's easier to find him than me lol
