Official Summary: Adrian Gottlieb is winning at life. He's a successful video game designer with everything a man could ask for, including a warm comfy ride to Denver and a date for his sister's wedding. But he finds himself in need of a total reboot when he's left stranded at a snowy campground in Utah. Holiday plans? Epic fail.

That is until Noah Walters offers him shelter for the night and a reluctant cross-country ride. Nothing about the ultraconservative geoarchaeologist should attract Adrian, but once he discovers Noah's hidden love for video games, the two connect on a new level. Soon, a quiet but undeniable chemistry sparks.

Something doesn't add up, though. As the miles accumulate and time runs out, Noah must face the most difficult choice of his life. Meanwhile, Adrian must decide whether he's ready to level up. Is their relationship status worth fighting for, or has this game ended before it's even begun?

Review: This will be a quick review - but that doesn't mean it's a negative one! I really enjoyed this story and getting to know both Adrian and Noah. I really felt for them both as they dealt with their attraction to each other but also the baggage they carry from the past. While both of them are gay, Adrian is the one with the experience and he's also younger than Noah. He knows more of what he wants except he tends to always end up in long-distance relationships that don't work out. As for Noah, he's tried to deny all homosexual feelings his whole life, coming from a conservative background and now teaching at a really conservative school that would not allow him to be out.

These two spend most of their time getting to know each other in an RV as Noah drives Adrian home for his sister's wedding, as he's been stranded at an RV park by his former date. I loved how both of these guys are different than they first seem. They also bond over video games which is really cute. Their two dogs even become best friends, so if that doesn't tell you the guys are meant to be, then what does? This is a nice, relatively cozy read for the holidays!

I'm excited for the next book in the #gaymers series. I'm curious to see who we will meet next!

Oh that's so cute their dogs become friends and they as well. And that would be interesting to see one of them who already has some experience and another who still tried to deny his homosexual feelings. I am glad you enjoyed this one!

#gaymers is the best hashtag ever.

I love adventure type romances with road trips. I think it's the fact that the characters can't hide and are usually well developed. This sounds like such a lovely read Lauren, thanks for sharing. Brilliant review! <3
