Lauren's Gift Guide of Things She Wants

I know what you are all thinking - "What can I get Lauren for Christmas?" Well, I'm here to tell you! No, really, I'm just going to share some things that I'd personally love to get for the holidays in the hope that you will find something for either yourself or someone else in your life you still need to shop for! I'm using amazon associates to link to these items, so if you do purchase from them, I'll get a small percentage back, which ultimately goes to help the blog!

First, let's start with all the many books I want!

Manga Nightmare Before Christmas: I love this movie, so of COURSE I'd love this one!

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them Screenplay: I LOVED this movie. I absolutely need the screenplay.

We Wish You a Murderous Christmas: This is actually the second book in a cozy mystery series. Both are under $10 so buy them both and make it a proper gift!

The Mystery Writer's of America Cookbook: Okay, I'm not really a cook, but this cookbook looks like such fun!

Just a couple more books...

By the Book: Writers on Literature and the Literary Life: How cool does this one sound? Perfect for book lovers!

The Story of Holly and Ivy: I remember loving this picture book, but I don't own a copy. Seriously though, get this book for your family collection!

Movies and Music time!

Zootopia: I adored this film when I saw it in theaters, so I need to own a copy!

Nativity!: I haven't seen this one but I like Christmas films and it has Martin Freeman!

Sherlock, Season 3: Speaking of Martin Freeman ...I still need the third season of this awesome show!

Hamilton Soundtrack: I really need this soundtrack. I've been listening to some of the music via Youtube, but I'd like the full soundtrack.

A Very Kacey Christmas: One of my favorite country gals these days is Kacey Musgraves, so I'm excited she has a Christmas album!

***

Christmas is almost here! Are you still looking for anyone? Need more ideas? Let me know in the comments and I'll try and share at least one more post full of fun Christmas ideas!

I just recently saw someone else mentioning that Mystery Writers cookbook... I think it was a BookTuber I was watching. Probably not something I would actually use (I rarely cook) but it would be fun to just browse through it and check out the entries.

Awesome list! I hope you get some of them for sure. I think unfortunately, my list of wants has now morphed into brakes on a car. Adulting can be so fun....

Zootopia was an awesome movie! :]! I'm a huge fan of cookbooks, so that Mystery Writers cookbook sounds rather awesome!

I still need to watch Fantastic Beasts!

I loved the fantastic beasts movie too and the screenplay cover is great! But I know I couldn't read it. I don't enjoy reading screenplays generally and it would feel like a less exciting repeat of watching the movie. But I'm sure you'll enjoy it if you like screenplays :)

I love your list! You've got a nice mix of things. Now hopefully you've been good this year and Santa delivers!

I love that Lauren, a really eclectic range of books and goodies. I've requested more elaborate presents this year, so it'll probably be a bit of pot luck. Besides a new laptop, I'm really hoping for a new Kindle. My Fire HD is on it's last legs and although we've had almost 4 wonderful years together, it's time for me to move on. I've got my fingers crossed. I hope Santa is taking note and brings you lots of lovely new goodies this year sweetheart <3 <3

What a great idea, to post your Christmas list! I mean, I totally get you're not asking for these, but of course they're great ideas for us to get other people (too?) I mean, you do have great taste! Do you have Amazon Prime? Or Netflix? I think Zootopia is on Netflix, not to blow your gift idea or anything :(

Merry Christmas!!!!!!!!!!!

Awesome list! I love the cover of Fantastic Beast! Need to get it soon, too! And I love Zootopia, definitely seen multiple times now haha. And yeeeees!!! More Sherlock! The wait has been too long!
If you use Spotify on your desktop or app, I think you can still listen to the full Hamilton album without having the paid subscription!
Have a great week (:

At first I thought I would never buy the FB script because I'd be content with just the movie. But then after seeing the movie, I totally see the appeal in reading the full script as written by Jo! So yeah, I think I'll add that one to my wishlist too. I hope you get some of these gifts this year, Lauren!

You NEED the Hamilton soundtrack. I haven't owned a physical CD in YEARS... until Hamilton and it plays in my car every minute. NOw, it alternates with the Mix Tape. And of course you need all the books. That goes without saying hahhaa. I hope you get all your Christmas wishes!!

Fantastic Beasts looks so gorgeous! I can't wait to read it.
I've got to rewatch all of Sherlock Holmes. Such a great series!
And Hamilton... I need to listen/watch it already.
I finally got my brother done. I want to get something for my other brother's girlfriend but I think I got it. So close to Christmas. I need to wrap things up!
